Kirti – Independent for Senate 2025

I’m standing for the Senate because I believe everyday voices — your voice — must be heard where decisions are made. As an Independent, I’m not bound by party politics. I am part of the very community I seek to represent, and I understand the issues we face because I’ve lived them too.

I’ve spent my life working with people — as an educator, a volunteer, and a passionate advocate for cultural integrity and community wellbeing. I’ve travelled across South America, Europe, and South Africa, but Victoria has always been home. This is where I’ve supported and run meditation and wellness campaigns, and volunteered for countless cultural events that bring people together in celebration and solidarity.

What I bring is not just passion — it’s purpose backed by experience. I believe in unity across cultures, in mental and emotional wellness, and in giving our youth the inspiration and support they need to thrive. I care about our education system, our environment, our cost of living — and above all, about fair and inclusive representation in Parliament.

I’m not a career politician. I’m one of us — and I’m here to take our lived realities, our values, and our voice into the Senate. This is not just about me — it’s about us. Because when we speak together, we become powerful.
